Section 793 - Effect of appeal

No appeal from an order or decree of an orphans' court division concerning the validity of a will or the right to administer shall suspend the powers or prejudice the acts of a personal representative acting thereunder. The reversal or modification of any decree of an orphans' court division in a proceeding in which the division has jurisdiction of the sale, mortgage, exchange or conveyance of real or personal estate shall not divest any estate or interest acquired thereunder by a person not a party to the appeal. Saved from Repeal. Section 793 is saved from repeal by the act of April 28, 1978, P.L.202, No.53, which put into effect the provisions of Title 42 (Judiciary and Judicial Procedure).
