\nThe State Metrology Laboratory shall have the custody of the State standards of weight and measure and of the other standards and equipment provided for by this chapter and shall keep accurate records of the same. The department shall enforce the provisions of this subchapter and keep a general supervision over the weights and measures offered for sale, sold or in use in this Commonwealth.
