\n(a) Office of Attorney General.--\nIn addition to other remedies provided for in this chapter, the Office of Attorney General, at the request of the department, may initiate in Commonwealth Court or the court of common pleas of the county in which the defendant resides or has a place of business an action in equity for an injunction to restrain a violation of this chapter, a regulation promulgated under this chapter or an order issued under the authority of this chapter from which no timely appeal has been taken or which has been sustained on appeal.\n(b) Preliminary injunctions.--\nIn a proceeding under subsection (a), the court shall, upon motion of the Commonwealth, issue a preliminary injunction if the court finds that the defendant is engaging in conduct that causes immediate or irreparable harm to the public or has engaged in other conduct which the court has developed through case law.\n(c) Bonds not required.--\nThe Commonwealth may not be required to furnish bond or other security in connection with proceedings under this section.\n(d) Civil penalties.--\nIn addition to an injunction, the court may levy civil penalties as provided by this chapter.
