(a) Season.--The taking of shad in the Delaware River and Bay and their tributaries is prohibited except between March 1 and June 10. (b) Lift period.--During the season when shad may be caught under subsection (a) it is unlawful for any nets to be in operation between 2 p.m. on Saturday and 12 midnight Sunday.
