Section 4565 - Challenging certain petit jurors where political subdivision is a party

A person shall not be challenged for cause and excluded from serving as a juror in any action or proceeding in which a political subdivision is a party or is interested because such person is or was an officer, rated citizen or inhabitant in such political subdivision or owns assessed or taxable property or is liable to the assessment or payment of taxes in such political subdivision. This section shall not apply to peremptory challenges of such persons. (Dec. 20, 1982, P.L.1409, No.326, eff. 60 days)
