When a court in an eminent domain proceeding rules on preliminary objections to a declaration of taking and is of the opinion that the matters involved are of immediate public importance, it shall, upon request of a party, so state in the order. If an appeal is taken from that order, the appellate court shall give priority to the determination of the issues raised by the appeal. (May 4, 2006, P.L.112, No.34, eff. 120 days) 2006 Amendment.
