Section 9735 - Objections to contents of presentence report

Each party shall prior to the imposition of sentence notify the opposing party and the court of any part of the report with which he differs, or of his intention to produce other reports or statements relating to the sentence. Upon such notice the court may conduct a presentence conference. A record of any stipulations agreed upon in the conference shall be made a part of the record of the sentencing proceeding. Suspension by Court Rule. Section 9735 was suspended by Pennsylvania Rule of Criminal Procedure No. 1101(6), adopted March 1, 2000, as being inconsistent with the rules of Chapter 7 relating to post-trial procedures in court cases.
