(a) Promoter distribution.--Unless otherwise directed by the commission or an authorized agent of the commission, all boxing purses shall be distributed by the promoter immediately after the conclusion of the contest or exhibition and, in any event, not later than 24 hours after the conclusion. A written statement showing the distribution of the purse, including each item of receipt and each expenditure or deduction, shall be furnished to the boxer and his manager, together with his share of the purse. A copy of the statement, certified by the promoter to be true and correct, shall be filed in the office of the executive director and shall have attached to it receipted vouchers for every expenditure or deduction. (b) Manager distribution.--Unless otherwise directed by the commission or an authorized agent of the commission, every manager shall furnish a statement of distribution to the boxer he manages, together with the boxer's share of the purse, immediately after he receives the purse and statement from the promoter and, in any event, not later than 24 hours after receipt. o the boxer he manages, together with the boxer's share of the purse, immediately after he receives the purse and statement from the promoter and, in any event, not later than 24 hours after receipt.
