Section 3103 - Gift or promise of thing of value to influence political support

(a) General rule.--A candidate for office, appointment or employment or an officer, appointee or employee in any municipality shall not, directly or indirectly, give or promise to any person any office, position, employment, benefit or anything of value for the purpose of influencing or obtaining the political support, aid or vote of any person. (b) Penalty.--Any person who violates subsection (a) shall be disqualified to hold the office or employment to which he may be or may have been elected or appointed.
