Section 5744 - Criminal penalties

For the purpose of this subchapter, any person or corporation convicted of: (1) a summary offense shall be sentenced to pay a fine of $500 and may be sentenced to a term of imprisonment not to exceed 90 days or both; or (2) a misdemeanor shall be sentenced to pay a fine of $2,500 and may be sentenced to a term of imprisonment not to exceed one year or both.
