(a) List.--Within 14 days of the effective date of this section, the department shall provide the commission and, upon request, a county, with a list of all spud unconventional gas wells from the department. The department shall update the list and provide it to the commission on a monthly basis. (b) Updates.--A producer subject to the fee shall notify the commission of the following within 30 days after a calendar month in which the change occurs: (1) The spudding of an unconventional gas well. (1.1) The initiation of production at an unconventional gas well. (2) The removal of an unconventional gas well from production.
