Section 2309 - Enforcement orders

(a) Issuance.--The commission may issue an order as necessary to enforce this chapter. An order issued under this section shall take effect upon notice, unless the order specifies otherwise. A person aggrieved by an order under this section may appeal to Commonwealth Court under 42 Pa.C.S. § 763 (relating to direct appeals from government agencies). (b) Compliance.--A producer has the duty to comply with an order issued under subsection (a). If a producer fails to proceed diligently to comply with an order within the time required, the producer shall be guilty of contempt and shall be punished by the court in an appropriate manner. The commission shall apply to Commonwealth Court, which shall have jurisdiction over matters relating to contempt.
