Section 1502 - Supply management regulations

For executive and independent agencies, the department shall establish policy and may promulgate regulations governing: (1) The management of supplies during their entire life cycle. (2) The sale, lease or disposal of surplus supplies by public auction, competitive sealed bidding or other appropriate method designated by the department. However, no employee of the owning or disposing agency shall be entitled to purchase any of these supplies except when the sale price of the surplus supply is less than the amount established by the department for permissible purchases by such employees. (3) Transfer of excess supplies.
