(a) Membership on boards and commissions.--In addition to the powers and duties imposed under law, the commissioner or a designee of the commissioner shall be a member of each of the licensing boards and licensing commissions except the State Board of Certified Real Estate Appraisers and the Navigation Commission for the Delaware River and its Navigable Tributaries. (b) Designee of Secretary of the Commonwealth.--The commissioner or a designee of the commissioner may serve as the designee of the Secretary of the Commonwealth on the Navigation Commission for the Delaware River and its Navigable Tributaries.
