(a) Notice.--Written notice of a personnel action taken under this part shall be provided to the affected employee. (b) Time limit for notice.--The notice shall be furnished within the time limit prescribed by the Office of Administration. Copies of the notice shall be provided to the Office of Administration upon request. (c) Contents of notice.--The notice shall, in the case of permanent separation, suspension for cause or involuntary demotion of a regular employee, set forth the reasons for the action. The notice shall also provide the affected employee information on the employee's right to appeal the personnel action to the commission.
