Notwithstanding any other provision of law, a municipality or board which decides to grant a permit or variance under this subchapter shall notify the department of its decision. This notice shall be in writing and shall be sent so as to reach the department at least ten days before the date upon which the decision is to issue. Nothing in this section shall be construed as impairing the rights of any person under section 5918 (relating to judicial review). Cross References.
