Section 1319 - Duties of motor carrier vehicle owners

(a) Currently valid certificate of inspection.--A motor carrier vehicle is required to have a currently valid certificate of inspection at the time that the department renews the registration of the vehicle. (b) Audit.--The department shall establish an audit procedure to monitor compliance with the requirement that motor carrier vehicles have a currently valid certificate of inspection at the time of registration renewal.
