Section 1614 - Notification of traffic convictions

After receiving a report of the conviction of any holder of a commercial driver's license issued by another state, or any person who is a holder of a driver's license issued by another state and who was operating a commercial motor vehicle at the time of the violation, for violation of this chapter or Chapter 15 (relating to licensing of drivers), 17 (relating to financial responsibility), 31 (relating to general provisions), 33 (relating to rules of the road in general) or 37 (relating to miscellaneous provisions) committed in a commercial motor vehicle, the department shall notify the driver licensing authority in the licensing state of the conviction. (July 5, 2005, P.L.100, No.37) 2005 Amendment. Section 10(2) of Act 37 provided that Act 37 shall take effect 90 days after publication of a notice in the Pennsylvania Bulletin. The notice was published July 16, 2005, at 35 Pa.B. 4029.
