Section 2424 - Appeal from appraisement

(a) Filing of petition.--Within ten days after notice of the filing of any report in the court of common pleas, either party may appeal from the appraisement by filing a petition for a hearing before the court alleging an undervaluation or overvaluation of the property. (b) Hearing.--The court shall fix a time when the appeal may be heard, giving at least ten days' notice to the parties, and, upon hearing, the court of common pleas shall have power to affirm or modify the report as the court deems just and proper.
