Section 701 - State Association of Boroughs

(a) Organization.--The boroughs of the Commonwealth may organize a State Association of Boroughs for the purpose of advancing the interests of the boroughs. A borough may join the State Association of Boroughs by motion of council and payment of the annual dues. Each borough, after becoming a member, shall pay reasonable dues as determined by the State Association of Boroughs. (b) Revenue.--Revenue received by the State Association of Boroughs shall be used to pay for services, publications and other expenses authorized or ratified by the State Association of Boroughs or incurred on behalf of the State Association of Boroughs by its officers and committees.
