For the purposes of §§ 1–26 of this title the terms hereinafter stated are defined as follows:(a) Division.— Shall mean the Division of Public Welfare hereby created.(b) Department.— Shall mean the Department of the Family of Puerto Rico.(c) Board.— Shall mean the Public Welfare Board hereby created.(d) Director.— Shall mean the Director of Public Welfare.(e) Public assistance.— Shall mean financial aid, medical care, welfare services and relief in kind to needy individuals.
