Any person who allows, aids, or abets the unauthorized disclosure of confidential information contained in the reports and files prepared as part of any procedure carried out under this chapter, or provided or obtained in a judicial hearing, shall incur a misdemeanor and if convicted shall be punished with a fine of not less than five hundred dollars ($500), nor of more than five thousand dollars ($5,000), or with a maximum term of imprisonment of six (6) months, or both penalties, at the discretion of the court.
