The Interagency Committee for the Study of Domestic Violence in Puerto Rico is hereby established, which shall be composed by thirteen (13) persons. The Committee shall be composed of the following persons: the Executive Director of the Women’s Affairs Commission, the Secretary of the Department of Justice, the Superintendent of Police, the Secretary of the Department of Health, the Secretary of the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, the Secretary of the Sports and Recreation Department, the Secretary of the Department of the Family, the Governor’s Advisor on Education and Quality of Life, the Governor’s advisor in the area of Health and Social Welfare, one educator interested in the problem of domestic violence (shall be chosen by the Women’s Affairs Commission, Office of the Governor), a victim of domestic violence (shall be chosen by the Women’s Affair Commission, Office of the Governor), and the Chairpersons of the Women’s Affairs Commission of the Senate and of the House of Representatives.
