For the purposes of this chapter, persons with significant disabilities between the ages of twenty-one (21) and fifty-nine (59) who are neither employable nor able to live on their own shall be eligible to receive the services provided in this chapter. The size of the family, their income and the expenses related to services for persons with significant disabilities, shall be taken into consideration when determining eligibility.Eligibility to receive services as provided by this chapter shall be determined according to such requirements provided in the regulations to be drafted by the Executive Committee and adopted by the overseeing agency, pursuant to § 884 of this title.
