The Executive Committee, directed by the Institute on Developmental Deficiencies, shall design a [Demonstration] Project for rendering the services as provided in this chapter. The same shall be established in the area or areas in which, in the judgment of the members of the Committee, the conditions for the development of the Project exist. The selection of the area shall be based on the needs of the population with disabilities and the feasibility to offer services. The design of the Project shall provide services to at least one hundred (100) persons with severe disabilities in the areas selected.The Executive Committee shall render a report, through the Overseeing Agency, to the Legislature after the first year of the implementation of the [Demonstration] Project has elapsed. The report shall include the evaluation of the services rendered and recommendations for the modification or extension of the [Demonstration] Project. History —Aug. 6, 2008, No. 176, § 7, eff.
