The father or mother, school principal, teacher, law enforcement officer, the Advocate for the Protection of Minors or the Advocate for Family Affairs, any prosecutor or official authorized by the Secretary of the Department of the Family, the school social worker, or any relative or person responsible for the minor may petition the court to issue a protection order for Minors against the person who abuses or is suspected of abusing or neglecting a minor, or when there is imminent risk of a minor being abused.\nHistory —Dec. 16, 2011, No. 246, § 63, eff. 90 days after Dec. 16, 2011.
