A tribunal of Puerto Rico exercising personal jurisdiction over a nonresident in a proceeding under this chapter, under other law of Puerto Rico relating to a support order, or recognizing a foreign support order may receive evidence from outside Puerto Rico pursuant to § 1336 of this title, communicate with a tribunal outside Puerto Rico pursuant to § 1337 of this title, and obtain discovery through a tribunal outside Puerto Rico pursuant to § 1338 of this title. In all other respects, §§ 1321—1386 of this title do not apply, and the tribunal shall apply the procedural and substantive law of Puerto Rico.\nHistory —July 2, 2015, No. 103, § 210.
