As of July 1, 1980, the compensation received by teachers within the corresponding schedule pursuant to the Act Regulating the Certification of Teachers, §§ 260 et seq. of this title, shall be adjusted according to the following provisions:Every teacher shall receive a raise equal to the rate scheduled according to his category, over and above the compensation he is receiving.In addition, a raise for years of service shall be granted to the teachers entitled thereto, pursuant to § 309c of this title.
