(a) Every teacher, retired or entitled to retire on any date prior to June 30, 1979, under the terms of §§ 321—366 of this title, or any other teachers’ pension law approved by the Legislature of Puerto Rico, who is receiving a pension or life annuity shall be entitled to receive an increase in said pension or life annuity of twenty-five dollars ($25) a month from July 1, 1979, on.(b) The Teachers’ Retirement Board shall take the necessary steps to enforce the provisions of this section.(c) The cost of this increase shall be defrayed chargeable to the Teachers’ Pension and Life Annuity Fund.
