The school directors of Puerto Rico are hereby authorized to appropriate in their respective annual budgets, with the approval of the Secretary of Education, an amount not to exceed one-half of one percent (½ %) of their respective annual revenues, as an annual contribution to enable La Egida del Maestro, a corporation constituted and incorporated under the provisions of Act Mar. 9, 1911, No. 22, as amended to carry out the purposes for which it was incorporated.
