(a) System participants shall be exempt from complying with the provisions of §§ 9001 et seq. of Title 3, provided that they state so in writing to the Puerto Rico Commonwealth Employees Association (AEELA) within sixty (60) days after they begin making contributions to the System.(b) Participants who choose not to avail themselves of the provisions of Act No. 9-2013, may only withdraw their funds in AEELA in the manner prescribed in said sections.(c) Participants who continue their membership in AEELA shall comply with all the provisions of the act.
