(a) Any System participant who commits and is convicted in a court of justice of Puerto Rico or any other state or federal jurisdiction, of acts constituting fraud, extortion, acceptance of a bribe, illegal taking, or any other offense involving the use of public funds for his/her own benefit or for the benefit of another person or entity, shall lose all benefits under the System.(b) In such case, the System shall refund to the participant the balance of all accrued individual contributions made to the Fund but not enjoyed, deducting any debt, if applicable, incurred therewith.
