The Department of Education shall issue the proper diploma to any person who shall have satisfactorily passed the examinations pertaining to the secondary school courses, that is, the intermediate school course or the high school course, or their respective equivalents that may hereafter be established in accordance with the provisions of §§ 41—46 of this title; Provided, That said secondary school diplomas, as well as all certificates and other vouchers issued under §§ 41—46 of this title, shall have the same value as the corresponding ones issued by other official institutions of Puerto Rico, and as such shall be transferable and admitted for all purposes for which they may be required, including the University of Puerto Rico.
