(a) The Administration, the Authority and the Department are hereby authorized to request specific and federal funds to promote and achieve the purposes of §§ 126b–126j of this title.(b) The Administration, the Authority, and the Department are hereby authorized to accept on behalf of the Government of Puerto Rico, monetary contributions or gifts from public or private natural or juridical persons as are necessary and convenient to achieve the purposes of §§ 126b–126j of this title.
