(a) Gato I Ward Middle School in the Municipality of Orocovis is hereby named after Ofelia Torres-Pratts, in honor of this distinguished Orocovis native.(b) The Department of Education is hereby exempt from the provisions of §§ 178 et seq. of Title 23, known as the 'Public Structures and Highways Naming Commission Act'.(c) The Department of Education shall place a sign in the school with the name of Ofelia Torres-Pratts for purposes of the designation required by subsection (a) of this section.
