To defray the amount of the awards for the best books during fiscal year 1988-89, the sum of twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) is hereby appropriated to the Institute of Literature, charged to the fund appropriated to the Institute of Puerto Rican Culture, to continue the creation and development of specific projects in the various areas of cultural endeavor. In subsequent years, the funds needed to defray the amount of the awards for the best books shall be consigned annually in the Joint Resolution of the General Expenses Budget of the Government of Puerto Rico.
