Any natural or juridical person that infringes the provisions of this chapter shall incur a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be punished with a fine that shall not exceed three thousand dollars ($3,000) for each violation, or with imprisonment for a term not to exceed six (6) months, or both penalties, at the discretion of the court.
