A public corporation which shall be known as the Puerto Rico Conservatory of Music, hereinafter denominated as the Corporation, is hereby created as an autonomous entity for the purpose of reasserting and strengthening the academic autonomy of musical education and adequately promoting and administering the programs and operations of the Puerto Rico Conservatory of Music.
