It shall be the duty of Theatrical Opera, Inc. (Teatro de la Opera, Inc.) to give participation in its opera productions to any available Puerto Rican talent which is appropriate to its productions’ needs, and which complies with the artistic criteria established by the Board of Directors. It shall, likewise, be the duty of said institution to contract artists of international renown, to offer performances of high quality and prestige to the Puerto Rican audience, and at the same time, to give our artists an opportunity to develop on stage, side by side with the most renowned and experienced artists.
