The following phrases and terms shall have the meaning stated below except when another meaning can be drawn from the text of the chapter:\n(a) Fund. — The Puerto Rican Fund for the Financing of Cultural Endeavors created by this chapter.\n(b) Institute. — The Institute of Puerto Rican Culture.\n(c) General Manager of the Fund. — The Executive Director of the Institute of Puerto Rican Culture.\n(d) Administrative Council. — The Council created by this chapter to administer and direct the Fund.\n(e) Secured creditor. — The commercial bank, financial company or institution, or any beneficiary, to whom payment of the principal amount and interest on a loan by the Fund has been guaranteed.\nThe terms used in the singular shall include the plural and vice versa, and the words that refer to persons shall include firms, groups, trusts, sponsorships, partnerships and corporations, nonprofit institutions and any other juridical person.\nHistory —July 20, 1988, No. 115, p. 482, § 2; Aug. 19, 1996, No. 139, § 2.
