Subject to the provisions of § 1475(b) of this title, the Administrative Council may grant loans to any natural or juridical person destined to promote, develop and stimulate cultural and artistic activities; likewise, it may also grant subsidies and other refundable or nonrefundable benefits destined to stimulate and promote nonprofit cultural and artistic activities pursuant to the provisions of § 1475 of this title.\nThe scope of the application of the Puerto Rican Fund for the Financing of Cultural Endeavors shall encompass all the sectors of the country’s cultural life, among which are:\n(a) Plastic arts, museums and parks.\n(b) Architecture and urbanism.\n(c) Theater and other performing arts.\n(d) Cinematography.\n(e) Folk expressions.\n(f) Music and [record] industry.\n(g) Dance and ballet.\n(h) [Writings] and editorial industry.\n(i) Applied arts.\n(j) Graphic and industrial design.\n(k) Photography and audiovisuals.\n(l) Opera, light opera, and Spanish musical comedy (zarzuela).\n(m) Artisanry.\n(n) Archaeology and anthropology.\n(o) Cultural centers.\n(p) Scholarship programs.\n(q) History.\n(r) Conservation and restoration of cultural assets.\nHistory —July 20, 1988,
