School youth cooperatives may, without limitation, conduct the following activities:\n(a) Buy and sell meals and school supplies to members and nonmembers employed by the school.\n(b) To sponsor and promote cultural and sporting activities presented in schools, the community and by the cooperative movement.\n(c) To establish the reserves considered necessary for the fulfillment of their social responsibility, functioning and guarantee of continuity.\n(d) To collaborate with the school and its community in the areas where needed that affect the students’ safety or health. Collaboration could be in equipment, materials or cash, as established by the cooperative’s internal regulations, but never to the detriment of the cooperative’s financial or social stability.\n(e) To conduct activities aimed at awareness of, and education in, cooperativist principles and values in the school community and in other juvenile sectors.\n(f) To establish different cooperative projects of administration and operation, alone or jointly with other cooperatives or to develop projects allowing for the development of entrepreneurial skills with the juvenile cooperatives.\nHistory —Aug. 29, 2002, No.
