The Manager of the State Insurance Fund is hereby authorized to extend the medical and hospital benefits provided by the Workmen’s Accident Compensation Act, §§ 1—42 of this title, until their rehabilitation, to migrant workers under contract of hire approved by the Secretary of Labor and Human Resources, when in need of medical treatment and hospitalization on their return to the Commonwealth as a result of injuries or occupational diseases arising in the course and on account of the employment.
