The court, when fixing the amount of damages to be paid in case of death by personal injury under this chapter, shall determine the amount due to each of the claimants in proportion to the material damages incurred by each of them in accordance with the actual needs which each of them had to depend upon the wages of the employee whose death was caused by accident.
