(a) The third Saturday of March of each year is hereby established as fixed date for the celebration of that great sports event at Island level, which is the Alejandro (Junior) Cruz, Sportsman, Mayor and Legislator Cockfighting Classic.(b) The Secretary of Sports and Recreation shall promulgate a yearly proclamation to inform the People of Puerto Rico of the celebration of the Alejandro (Junior) Cruz, Sportsman, Mayor and Legislator Cockfighting Classic, and in which he/she shall eulogize the figure of the illustrious Puerto Rican citizen, Alejandro (Junior) Cruz and on the relevance of the cockfighting sport.
