No pit judge, registration judge, maintenance technician or registration judge assistant may match or pit his/her gamecocks or cocks trained by them in a cockpit where they perform functions. Operators or lessees who hold a license to act as pit judge, registration judge or maintenance technician shall be banned from practicing as such in their own cockpits or in those administered by them, unless an emergency event arises, of which the Sports and Recreation Department shall be informed within five (5) calendar days. It shall be understood as 'emergency event' that in which they shall work in order to finish a match or up to three (3) consecutive matches. During the course of the matches none of them may drink alcoholic beverages, if they are performing their functions. History —July 31, 2007, No. 98, § 20, eff. 90 days after July 31, 2007.
