For the purposes of this chapter, the following terms shall have the meaning expressed below:(1) Department. — Means the Sports and Recreation Department.(2) Outstanding athlete. — Means a person who has practiced, practices or is involved in any sport and who has obtained or achieved local or international recognition for his/her performance in any sport.(3) Register. — Means the Permanent Register of Outstanding Puerto Rican Athletes.(4) Secretary. — Means the Secretary of the Sports and Recreation Department.
