The Department of Natural and Environmental Resources shall set the requirements that must be met by the lands where natural trails permitting or prohibiting the use of motor vehicles shall be established. The Department of Natural and Environmental Resources may establish, through regulations, the requirements for holding mountain cycling and cross-country vehicle competitions. The lands containing paths and trails that meet the requirements of the Department of Natural and Environmental Resources and that comply with the regulations of the Government of Puerto Rico shall be included in the Register created by § 382 of this title.
