For fiscal years subsequent to the approval of this act, a sum that shall not be less than twenty thousand dollars ($20,000) is hereby appropriated to the Sports and Recreation Department to defray the operating expenses of the Puerto Rico Marathon in Villalba. Said funds shall be consigned in the Budget of Operating Expenses of the Department.The Sports and Recreation Department shall establish the standards to disburse the funds appropriated to hold the Marathon.The Organizing Entity of the Puerto Rico Marathon shall render a report itemizing the expenses defrayed under this appropriation of funds. The expense report shall be submitted to the Secretary of the Sports and Recreation Department no later than thirty (30) days following the date on which the Marathon is held.
