The Secretary of the Sports and Recreation shall provide the facilities and services necessary for the Board of Trustees to carry out its purposes and functions, as established in this chapter. The members of the Board shall perform their duties 'ad honorem', as a public service, including the evaluation and awarding or denial of petitions for assistance submitted by eligible ex-boxers.
